Meet Courtnay

Founder

I am the proud mother of my beautiful daughter, Violette. Our journey together has been filled with unexpected challenges and incredible resilience, beginning with Violette’s early arrival into this world. Violette was born at just 32 weeks, a precious preemie who had to fight from the very start. At birth, she experienced a stroke, and her first months were spent in the NICU, where she bravely endured a two-month stay. As we navigated through this difficult time, we learned that Violette has a rare genetic disorder, developmental delays, and Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI). Our experiences opened our eyes to the significant lack of support for families like ours, who face complex medical and developmental challenges. This realization ignited a passion within me to create Blooming Violette, a space dedicated to providing the support and resources that are so desperately needed.
